Displaying a holographic map of the terrain or interiors of buildings just before the eyes of a soldier is simply a image known for films or discipline fiction games. Poles from the Sunway Network made it not only possible to usage specified solutions on the battlefield soon. Sunway imagination glasses are already replacing respective devices simultaneously, providing comfort of usage and ease of use.
Microsoft has been working on a modern optical strategy for the American Army since 2018. The IVAS (Integrated Visual Augmentation strategy – Integrated Extended Visualization System) has already absorbed over $22 billion. It is constantly developed and improved, as the US Army seeks to make IVAS a standard equipment for the soldier of the future, besides referred to as Augmented Soldier. Meanwhile, Sunway imagination was created in Poland – an integrated strategy of MR glasses (Mixed Reality) for field tasks, designed for professionals operating in demanding conditions.

Sunway imagination are glasses with extended reality that display information and images from the battlefield, supplemented by GPS, compass, gyroscope, accelerometer and night and thermal vision. The Polish company created the first goggles already 8 years ago, but only the latest prototype was developed for military purposes.
– Already today, our prototype is advanced adequate to receive first questions from the military this year. We hope that from next year we will be able to deliver our products," said Sunway Network president.
Arnold Adamczyk, creator of Sunway imagination technology, stressed at the outset that this strategy of glasses is not an additional equipment and weight. On the contrary, its aim is to replace many existing devices that a soldier must or would like to wear during the task. Sunway imagination has 2 thermal cameras that let you to capture a 3D image. With a transparent display in front of his eyes, the soldier sees an environment with a applied thermal image. This is simply a distinctive feature of Sunway imagination against the background of competition.
The glasses besides have night imagination cameras utilizing staggered light, which provides full-color visibility. In addition, they usage a laser rangefinder (Lidar) with a removable telephoto lens allowing reflection of the object over 1 km. The prototype presented in Kielce had six functions: training drone control in VR, holographic presentation of maps and spatial objects, thermal vision, night vision, distance measurement and Google map navigation.
