Two days full of excitement, tension and competition – this was the CyberEXPERT GAME 2025 final, 1 of the most crucial training and training events for cybersecurity teams in Europe.

In this year's edition, teams from Poland competed (National Bank of Poland, Orlen S.A., Social Insurance Institution, office of the Territorial Defence Army, ENEA S.A.), Norway, France, Albania, Croatia and Latvia, facing cyber attacks scenarios in a modern cyber scope environment. Virtual battlefields warmed to red, and participants had to show not only method knowledge, but besides cooperation, stress resistance, and the ability to make fast decisions. – It was 2 days full of tension, adrenaline and satisfaction. We didn't know how we'd end up. Cooperation, fast decisions and cold blood were crucial – 1 of the participants emphasized.

During the struggle, participants reacted to simulated cybersecurity incidents: from attacks on critical infrastructure, through analysis of malware, to consequence to cloud environments. Each task active teaming and strategical reasoning under time pressure. “ CyberEXPERT GAME is more than just a competition,” said Colonel Mariusz Krawczyk, manager of the Expert Cybersecurity Training Centre (ECSC). – It is simply a unique experience that combines people from different countries and environments. In a planet where cyberspace becomes a field of geopolitical competition, it is the participants of specified events that set fresh standards in the field of cybersecurity.

As General Karol Molenda stressed, the experience gained during CyberEXPERT GAME 2025 will become the basis for building fresh training scenarios, strengthening the competence of cybersecurity specialists in Poland.

After 2 intense days of conflict we met the winners of CyberEXPERT GAME 2025:

2. Latvia (Latvian National Armed Forces, National defender CD&EW Bn, CERT.LV)
3. squad of Cyberspace Command of Territorial Defence Forces

The winning squad received the Minister of Defence Cup, and all teams from the podium were honored with CyberEXPERT GAME 2025 medals. The ceremony was accompanied by an atmosphere of pride, satisfaction and apparent fatigue – the best proof of how demanding this year's competition was.

The Expert Cybersecurity Training Centre (ECSC) is simply a specialized unit of the Ministry of National Defence, which was established to support the improvement of soldiers and personnel of the Armed Forces in the area of cybersecurity, IT and cryptology. It prepares personnel for the full spectrum of activities in cyberspace. It coordinates and implements training projects under the MON in cybersecurity. It is developing training cooperation on achieving interoperability and expertise in IT, cryptology and cybersecurity within NATO and the EU.
