Taiwan has declared that they will exercise their right to self-defense and “counterattack” if China decides to attack the island's territory, Reuters reported. At the same time, on September 1, an unidentified civilian drone was shot down close the Chinese border by Taiwan's armed forces, Taiwan's defence ministry said.
