Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda met with recently appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Poland J.E. Jun Jolu Tae. During the meeting, held in a warm atmosphere, both sides stressed the importance of the previous, very fruitful cooperation in the field of defence.

Deputy Minister Paweł Bejda met with recently appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Poland J.E. Jun Jolu Tae. Deputy Minister Bejda praised the efforts of the South Korean Embassy to strengthen bilateral relations, which resulted in a number of crucial projects, including in peculiar in the area of method modernization of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland.

During the talks the current state of defence relations between Poland and the Republic of Korea was discussed. Both Deputy Minister Bejda and Ambassador Jun Jolu Tae indicated the strategical nature of the partnership, which goes beyond the framework of typical trade cooperation. It was stressed that joint projects, specified as the modernisation of the armed forces, contribute not only to strengthening the defence possible but besides to the transfer of technology and building common trust in the face of a rapidly changing geopolitical situation. The fresh Ambassador expressed his willingness to further make these relations, drawing on the experiences of his predecessor.

The next part of the gathering discusses possible future cooperation, focusing on strengthening the safety of both countries and stableness in the region. They discussed opportunities to extend cooperation to fresh areas, including joint investigation and development, military training and the exchange of experience in cyber defence. Deputy Minister Bejda expressed hope that Ambassador Jun Jolu Tae's word of office would contribute to further deepening strategical dialog and another initiatives that would strengthen the defence partnership between Poland and the Republic of Korea in the coming years.
