Patriot battery withdrawn from Slovakia

The Ministry of defence of Slovakia said 1 of 3 Patriot strategy batteries stationed in the country as part of the multinational NATO conflict group had been withdrawn. The decision is not intended to affect the safety of the country. According to defence Minister Jaroslav Nad, “We have taken a number of safety measures, thanks to which we can reduce the amount of equipment, as well as allied soldiers.”
