Where will the maneuvers take place?
The maneuvers will be carried out close the Iranian port town of Chabahar, in the Oman Gulf. It is simply a key location, a gateway between the Strait of Ormuz and the Indian Ocean.
What are the training elements?
As part of naval training, 3 countries will practice attacks on marine targets or search and rescue operations. The aim of the maneuvers is to deepen military relations and cooperation between the armies of participating countries.
