Due to the abrupt increase of tension in the region, the Ministry of abroad Affairs (MFIs) decided to evacuate Poles from Israel. Initially, it was estimated that about 200 people would return to Poland, but fresh information indicates that the number is much higher – over 300 people.
The first group of Poles will be evacuated on Tuesday around noon. However, it should be noted that the evacuation process is not simple due to the fact that the airspace over Israel is completely closed. In order to be able to evacuate Poles, it will be essential to transport them in a convoy from Tel Aviv to Egypt, from where they will then be transported to Poland.
Evacuation is organised by the Ministry of abroad Affairs and will be free of charge. It is worth noting that Poland is 1 of the first countries to decide to evacuate its citizens. another ministries, including the Ministry of Defence, are besides active in the process itself.
