The Mazovia Heart of Poland was dominated by the First Wincent Witos Criterion, which took place on Saturday in the very centre of Warsaw. In both major races – elites and eagles – they took all places on the podium. Winners of the event under the honorary patronage of the national defence minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamisha were Łukasz Owsian and Michał Pomorski.
Finishing I Criterion them. Vincent Witos The main races of elites and eagles were held on a 58 km long route. The best cyclists defeated her in 1 hr 8 min 55 s. In the rivalry of the elite, Łukasz Owsian triumphed, who won 47 points on the final laps. The second in the classification Jakub Kaczmarek won them 41 and the 3rd Michał Pomorski 28. The second triumphed simultaneously in the rivalry of the eagles before David Lewandowski and Ksaver Adazak. All of these players represent the colours of the Mazovia Heart of Poland, whose sports manager is Dariusz Banaszek. This erstwhile cyclist of the Warsaw Legion was the originator of the Wincent Witos I Criterion and the main organizer of the event.
The plan was, of course, to win this race for our team. We went hard since the launch and rapidly arranged a comfortable situation for us. We drove to the end, controlling the course of competition, dividing points among ourselves – says Łukasz Owsian, who in the colours of the Mazowsze Heart of Poland raced from the beginning of this season, and previously, from 2020, competed in the French Arkea squad – he fought 7 times on the way of the biggest races: 3 times in Giro d’Italia and Vuelta a España and erstwhile in Tour de France. The winner of the criterion admitted that the 2.2 km circular in the centre of the capital was hard and demanding. She was a swindler, and we were beautiful shook up by the street. Of course, the driveway at Bednarska was very demanding. It was good that it did not rain and it was rather safe – adds the triumphant main race.
– The Mazowsze Heart of Poland is simply a continental team, so it is hard not to win today. I did not even consider another option – says Dariusz Banaszek. He besides admits that any anxiety as an organizer caused him a slight passing rain. – For this reason, due to the fact that the safety of the players is the most important, we introduced corrections to the hours of individual races. The way ran mainly on the surface of the ankle. I was very worried about the crash. Fortunately, there were only 2 – says the sports manager of the Mazovia Heart of Poland.
The another categories classified in the 1st Vincent Witos Criterion were Paulina Lipieta (in junior category), Franciszek Zduniak (juniorzy), Edyta Grabarek (an amateur woman), Kamil Kuszmider (an amateur man), Marcin Zawadzki (a male masts), Adrianna Bader-Strzała (a younger Juniore), Paweł Kochanowicz (a younger younger younger younger woman), Kesja Kolbusz (a young person), Wiktor Urban (a young person), Zuzanna Blazucka (a Jakini) and Cezary Widera (a Żak).
The main organizer of the criterion in Warsaw Dariusz Banaszek was pleased that after 5 years the collage event again visited the centre of the capital. In 2020, they raced around Krakowskie Przedmieście, besides sliding Karowa and driving to Bednarska, cyclists competing in the XI Memorial of Stanisław Królak. – I am glad that on this beautiful way we managed to attract cyclists again and that their competition was watched by thousands of fans.
