Only a week ago, they crossed the threshold of the 10th Wrocław Communications Brigade, and already learned the odor of gunpowder, the bang of the fired cartridge and faced 1 of the most crucial tasks standing in front of them – shooting with a full-time gun.

In the life of all soldier comes this minute – the first shooting with sharp ammunition. DZSW soldiers taking part in primary training in our brigade experienced it after the first week of training.

Come on, the shooting itself takes a short time, the emotions associated with it will stay with them for a long time. Stress and tension accompanying soldiers was natural due to the fact that to the vast majority it was the first contact with arms. Soon, however, excitement and satisfaction came from a well - done task.

RECLAMA

For each shooter, it was a kind of rite of passage. The weapon has ceased to be an atrape, and the sound of a gunshot is not only the sound of an action film, it is simply a real and real thunder in the ears and body.

But before the first “hot” shooting they spent hours in classes preparing them for the event. They learned what BLOS stands for – weapons, barrel, environment, trigger. Instructors selected from our brigade taught DZW soldiers the construction and operation of weapons and safety rules for its use. The training dozens of times decomposed and folded the rifles assigned to them to gradually do it smoothly and intuitively. They were then taught how to handle weapons properly. They were taught to take a correct shooting attitude and to remove typical and different weapons malfunctions that could happen to them during shooting. The next phase was fire-free training.

The apogee of today's training was shooting with sharp ammunition. After this event, young soldiers realized that this was no longer fun. It was a symbolic minute for them to take work for the weapons they had committed, for their colleagues who stood next to them and for the country they wanted to defend.
