The State Election Commission refused to registry 2 presidential candidates. In their letters of support, the names of many people who are already dead were found. another errors afraid outdated names and support given without signature. erstwhile the PKW officials summed up all the papers it turned out that David Jackievicz and Wiesław Lewicki did not actually collect the required 100,000 signatures. Let's add that they both put them together in PKW in full over 300,000!
David Jackievicz delivered letters of support to PKW with 148 804 signatures, i.e. theoretically with a large surplus. After careful examination of the documents, as many as 66,540 statements of support revealed shortcomings. The most common were errors in the address of residents providing support – as many as 28 954 were incorrect. A further 11,617 signatures contained errors in PESEL, and in 7294 a name or surname incompatible with the remainder of the data was given. The PKW withdrew from checking the remainder of the letter, as the exclusion of incorrect 66 540 and so meant that the candidate did not collect the required 100,000 signatures.
The PKW pointed out in peculiar that as many as 7239 women who have already married have given maiden names, so their pre-wedding data are no longer up to date. The letters besides found 2881 alleged dead souls, i.e. signatures of deceased people.
The required threshold of 100,000 signatures was Wiesław Lewicki, who submitted more than 14 1000 sheets in PKW. After deduction of invalid statements of support, only 95,074 were left. As many as 27,974 were found incorrect. In the case of 6298 the deficiencies afraid errors in the PESEL number, and in 4694 the name was not correct. In addition, the letters of support included 3,851 signatures of women who "forgotten" the name they took after the matrimony and gave the maiden name. PKW found 5805 signatures of people who died – sometimes many years ago. The remaining 1000 were rejected by the PKW, as the signatures were filed by persons without an active electoral right or due to the fact that these signatures were not at all (the voters provided the data but did not sign).
Until now, PKW has registered 12 candidates – Sławomir Mentzen, Grzegorz Braun, Rafał Trzaskowski, Artur Bartoszewicz, Karol Nawrocki, Adrian Zandberg, Simon Hołownia, Mark Woch, Maciej Maciak, Joanna Senyszyn, Magdalena Biejat and Marek Jakubiak (according to the order of applications).
