U.S. president Donald Trump warned that the absence of a gathering of Russian and Ukrainian leaders, Vladimir Putin and Volodymyr Zelenski, could have “very serious consequences”. The American president believes that it is both countries that should handle the substance among themselves, although he admitted that he did not know if specified a gathering would always happen.
