PiS TwitterKarol Nawrocki commented on Germany and commented more specifically on Nord Stream 2. The president of Poland criticised the authorities of our neighbour for financing the Russian war in Ukraine.
On Monday, the Polish president took part in a conference in Vilnius with the Lithuanian president Gitanas Nauseda. Its subject was the beginning of Via Baltica and military and energy cooperation of both countries.
Nawrocks criticized Angela Merkel's German government during his speech in harsh words. This was his reaction to the question of Volodymyr Crane, who is suspected of blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipeline.
– It is very good that Mr. cranelow stays in Poland. I believe that on the German side, a fair trial might not await him. I remember that Nord Stream 2 was an enterprise that was expected to give profits to the German state. At the time, it was not crucial that Russia would arm itself in war with billions of profits from this transaction. It must be remembered that we are talking about the agreement of the state that dated the aggressor by buying their gas. The Ukrainian citizen cannot be punished for this, that at a time erstwhile his state is demolished by Vladimir Putin," he stated.
Nawrocki's acute reaction
In the following part of the statement, the president of Poland recalled that in the past German-Russian energy cooperation "contributed to the financing of the Russian war machine". He besides stressed that Poland and Lithuania model solidarity and liable policy in the face of threats.
