Donald Tusk signs papers against the will of the president. The dispute over the appointment of assessors is gaining momentum

A sharp escalation of the political and political dispute between the head of government and the president and the Constitutional Tribunal. Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced a key decision concerning more than 200 recently appointed court assessors, informing of the spectre of paralysis of thousands of cases considered all period in Polish courts. In order to prevent the judgments issued by young judges from being undermined, the head of the government utilized a unique "Solomonic exit" and decided to countersign the nomination papers – even though, as he emphasizes, this happened against the will of president Karol Nawrocki.
