The fresh Rocket Brigade will be formed on the basis of the Marine Rocket Unit. "It will be the 3rd tactical union of the Polish Navy – described on Monday on the social portal X Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

The Marine Rocket Unit is designed to combat (destroy, overpower) the enemy's navigable naval forces, shield the main naval bases (basement points, manoeuvring points) of the Navy, areas convenient for landing the sea landing and crucial military and industrial facilities deployed on the coast.
The Polish Army describes that due to the large maneuverability and the advanced efficiency of the fire, the MJR plays a crucial function in ensuring freedom of operation of its own naval forces in the Baltic Sea.
