Two Israeli embassy workers were shot in Washington on Wednesday night. The crime occurred through the judaic Museum, where the American judaic Committee event took place.
Police managed to halt the attacker – he is simply a 30-year-old man from Chicago. He hasn't been listed by the police yet. During the detention he was to rise the cry of free Palestine.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that he was shocked by the assassination. “It is simply a terrible price of anti-Semitism and violent incitement against Israel. Anti-Semitic slanders directed at Israel end in bloodshed and we will fight them until they are over," we read in the release quoted by PAP.
In consequence to the assassination, Israel increases safety measures in diplomatic missions worldwide.
