Visit of the delegation of the Committee on abroad Affairs and the National Defence Committee of the Polish Sejm in Washington (announcement)

Media Service Office announces that on days 14-18 July 2025 (Monday - Friday) a visit from the delegation Committee on abroad Affairs and the National Defence Commission of the Polish Sejm in Washington.

The aim and mission of the delegation of Polish Parliamentary Members led by Paweł Kowal, as president of the Committee on abroad Affairs, will be to support the United States legislature for the Polish-American partnership, including the conviction of congressmen and representatives of the American administration to not reduce the number of troops stationed in Poland.

In addition to meetings with congressmen and representatives of administration, the delegation plans meetings promoting Polish communicative in the Washington community. The co-organizers of these meetings will be the Polish Embassy, the Polish Institute of global Affairs and the Mieroszewski Centre in cooperation with selected American partners specified as Alexander Hamilton Society, Hudson Institute and POLITICO portal.

The delegation will be composed of representatives of various political parties to present to the American side the supraparty support of the Polish political class for the defence and energy safety policy of the Polish Republic.
