In consequence to the expanding likelihood of crisis situations—primarily related to air attacks on Polish territory—the Ministry of the Interior and Administration, in collaboration with the Fire Department, has prepared an interactive map of shelters covering the full territory of the Republic of Poland. Currently, the map shows as many as 86,388 shelters.
