The Sejm passed a bill expanding the scale of excise duties increases on alcohol between 2026 and 27. The alcohol taxation rate will increase by 15% next year and by 10 percent in 2027. According to the Ministry of Finance, after expanding the prices of alcohol to the state budget, nearly PLN 2 billion will be paid.
