U.S. president Donald Trump and Pakistani Prime Minister Shebhaz Sharif announced on Sunday that the U.S. and Iran had reached a preliminary peace agreement. Trump announced that he had authorized the “immediate” reopening of the Strait of Hormuz and the lifting of the blockade on Iranian ports.
