“Train with the Army” is the 7th edition, which was created on the initiative of the Ministry of National Defence and the Polish Army. This is basic, short (8-hour), free Saturday military training. Conducted in units and military colleges by qualified military personnel. This is simply a pro-social and pro-defence action, the training plan involves the acquisition of basic safety and defence skills.
At AMW in the plan, among others, shooting training, OPBMR - the application of gas mask and protective clothing, information on types of contamination, threats and alarms, peculiar training - the basis for consequence to public emergency situations. We are the only ones in Poland as part of this training – in AMW we conduct individual rescue techniques – at the deep-water basin. In addition, medical classes, physical education - combat in close contact, the basics of survival, there will besides be food, including soldier peas...
It will besides be an chance to get acquainted with the university's teaching and training base, its rich achievements and the conditions to be met to survey at AMW or to have specialist courses. Age limit of participants 15 - 65 years old, required from Polish citizenship. It is simply a very valuable and useful initiative today, which brings together many participants who, according to age and predisposition, can implement the training cycle. In erstwhile 6 editions and 1 peculiar edition, about 31 1000 Poles took part in training with the military in the full country.
