Russia massively breached Polish airspace on the night of Tuesday for Wednesday. The communication on the case was issued by the RSZ Operations Command and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Before 6am, the head of government reported:
"I received a study from the Operation Commander of the Armed Forces Types about shooting down drones that entered our airspace and could pose a threat".
The U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was informed of the situation.
Republican Congressman: "It's an act of war"
Joe Wilson, a Republican congressman, referred to reports of the situation in Poland through platform X:
"Russia attacks NATO ally, Poland, Iranian shahed drones, little than a week after president Trump hosted president Nawrocki at the White House".
The congressman didn't put on words to describe this attack as a "act of war". Wilson added: "We are grateful to NATO allies for their swift consequence to Putin's relentless, unprovoked aggression of war criminal against free and productive nations."
