The Act provides for a pension for the erstwhile president of the Republic of Poland of 75%. In 2025, the remuneration of the head of state is PLN 18,255.30 gross. This means that after leaving the Presidential Palace, Duda will receive a pension of PLN 13,691,47 gross, or about PLN 11,240 net.

But that is not all! There are a number of benefits, possibly even more costly from the point of view of the state than the pension itself. The erstwhile president will receive Lifetime protection of the State Protection Service (SOP)and service car with driver and free wellness care for the remainder of your life. Duda will besides have access to office and secretarial services.

Presidential pension versus average Polish pension

In many ways, presidents are much easier than average Polish pensionerwho receives a benefit from the Social Insurance Institution.
