The Bielsko-Żywiec diocese is to pay a man who was abused by a priest as a kid PLN 400,000 in compensation. The verdict ended a civilian trial that had been ongoing since 2022. The hearings were held behind closed doors. Janusz Szymik demanded PLN 3 million in compensation.
