The condition of surface waters in Poland has deteriorated significantly

The percent of surface waters in good condition in Poland has fallen from 31 percent to 8.5 percent in six years, according to a study that the European Commission will print on Tuesday. Environment Commissioner Jessika Roswall told PAP that mines have a large impact on the level of pollution.
