During the ceremony of the Association of Polish Journalists at the Journalist's home at 3/5 Foksal Street in Warsaw, SDP Awards were presented on Tuesday. This year Tadeusz Rydzyk's father, the creator and manager of Radio Maryja and tv Trwam, was awarded the Association's laurel. On the another hand, the Dutch Republic was awarded the Freedom of the Word Award to a writer and tv operator.
Father Tadeusz Rydzyk, an extraordinary writer and editor, continues to conduct the broadcast in the media created by him. Laura Fr. Rydzyk dedicated to faithful praying together on Radio Maryja and tv Trwam.
Thanking the SDP for the distinction, the friar spoke about contemporary media. “Let us not be afraid to talk to people. (...). I think Poland needs it now" – he encouraged journalists gathered at the gala. "Thank you for your courage again. It takes courage to preach the truth. reflection too" – said Father Tadeusz Rydzyk
SDP president Jolanta Hajdas and Vice president Mariusz Pilis presented the Word Freedom Award to the writer and presenter of Dutch Danuta from tv Republika. According to the justification of the jury of the Dutch competition, the main award for tv TV interviews was given to the Republic of “Interview with Grażyna Olszewski, parent of Fr Olszewski”, “Interview with Urszula Dubejko and Karolina Kucharska after leaving the detention”, and “Interview with MPs Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik after leaving the detention.”
A writer said that during the interview she was trying to make contact with a man, sometimes a victim, who sits next to him. “You are afraid to do everything you can to prevent him from failing,” Danut Dutch said. "I effort to listen, of course, being prepared for the interview and then just listening. Guy wants to talk to a man. Even those politicians who come to us, they want to talk to a man," said the journalist.
“I effort to respect my interlocutor first,” Danuta Dutch said.
