"Yes" for security, "but" for truce. European leaders at a gathering with Trump

The European leaders agreed with Donald Trump that Ukraine needs a safety warrant in line with Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty. The German Chancellor stressed that a ceasefire was essential first, but the American president disagreed with it. He said he solved six conflicts without having to make truces, and Russia will accept safety guarantees for Ukraine.
