The paralysis of airports and banks affected many countries in the world, including Poland. “The events resulting from the accident do not endanger the safety of the state,” says Prime Minister Donald Tusk. The Ministry of Digitisation reassures that critical infrastructure systems operate smoothly and the head of the MON adds that all services care about its safety.
The first reports of the large failure of Microsoft's IT systems came last night. On Friday morning, however, it turned out that the failure has global coverage, which means that people around the planet have problems with banking, airports and seaports. There are difficulties in briefing passengers, and any airlines had to ground their aircraft. Problems besides arose in the media and wellness care.
The global crisis is caused by the unfortunate update of Microsoft. CrowdStrike's already creating antivirus software admitted the mistake. Microsoft Polska spokeswoman Anna Klimczuk admitted that there were 2 failures at the same time: CrowdStrike software and Microsoft software.
The biggest difficulties are in the United States, where the failure has completely paralyzed the operation of the American Airlines or United Airlines line, as well as banking, supermarket work and wellness care. Paralysis was besides affected by airlines in Australia, France, Germany and large Britain. Sky News and railway besides did not operate in the Islands for respective hours.

The Minister of Digitalism Krzysztof Gawkowski stated in a short message that critical infrastructure systems in Poland are presently operating smoothly. "The global failure of Microsoft systems is monitored by Polish cybersecurity services. We will keep you informed of the situation, and for the minute there is no origin for concern," Gawkowski wrote in social media.
The situation was besides addressed by Deputy Minister of Digitalization Paweł Olszewski.
