A single case of tuberculosis has been reported in a school in the Świnou County. There is no danger to students or staff of the facility – the state wellness inspector in Świnoujście informed.
The situation is unchangeable and under the full supervision of the sanitary services – the Świnoujski wellness department passed.
– The fast consequence of the school and the wellness inspection body allowed the anticipation of transmission to be reduced. The epidemiological investigation established the level of vulnerability of individual pupils and teachers and covered their epidemiological surveillance, as reported by the state territory wellness inspector in Świnoujście Aneta Szymanowska.
All who had direct and long-term contact with the patient were informed of the request for preventive tests. The wellness department reported that there was no confirmed further case of illness, and implementation of preventive measures is simply a standard procedure.
