National Defence Minister Tomasz Siemoniak confirmed on Tuesday that the home damaged in the village of Wyryki, Lublin Voivodeship was most likely destroyed by a rocket launched by a Polish F-16 aircraft. Siemoniak spoke in an interview with Monika Olejnik, referring to the findings of "Rzeczpospolita".
"All this indicates that it was a rocket launched by our plane in defence of Poland, in defence of our homeland, in defence of our citizens. And the military declared that these losses would be covered" - said the minister. The diary referred to anonymous sources "in the most crucial structures of the state dealing with state security".
Detailed studies are ongoing
The Minister stressed that the investigation of the circumstances of the incidental was inactive ongoing. "It is not that after the first hour, after 3 hours everything is clear.
