On Wednesday there was a shocking crime at the campus of the University of Warsaw. A 22-year-old perpetrator who turned out to be a third-year student of UW law, attacked 2 people with an axe.
A female working as a university porter died instantly. The student hit her with an axe. He besides attacked another UW worker who tried to halt him – a man was transported to the hospital. He has severed head and arm wounds.
An aggressive student managed to halt at the scene.
In connection with the crime at the UW, mourning was announced, and weekend juvenalia was besides cancelled. The condolences of president Andrzej Duda to the victim:
“I am profoundly moved by the tragedy that occurred present at the University of Warsaw. As a consequence of this violent assault, a university worker was killed. I join in pain and prayer with the close Sacrifice and the full academic community," the president wrote on platform X.
