"Semiconductors are the gold of the 21st century." Government works on fresh strategy after defeat with Intel

The Ministry of Digital Affairs wants to make a coherent policy for the semiconductor sector. Consultations are underway on regulations applicable to the sector, which numbers 250 companies. - We cannot, as Poland, trust on just 1 company. (…) Poland cannot talk to just 1 partner and trust that even if it makes a commitment, it will implement something, due to the fact that Intel's investment has shown that problems in the United States can besides consequence in problems (of investment - editor's note) in Poland as well - the deputy prime minister emphasized.
