It's been a fewer minutes and the president himself answered. "The scandal in the moral, human dimension, Prime Minister, is lawlessness, which you have introduced since 13 December 2023. Let us remind that Robert Bąkiewicz in November 2023 was legally convicted of violating the physical immunity of the activist. The court imposed a punishment on him a year of restrictions on freedom in the form of free social work of 30 hours per period and a charge of PLN 10 1000 to the victim. Meanwhile, an act of grace included the punishment of restrictions on freedom.
The President's office has already issued a message on this matter. "The president of the Republic of Poland made a decision of 11 July 2025 to apply the right of grace to 1 person" - was informed.
The communication besides indicated what motives led Andrzej Duda in taking this decision: "The president of the Republic of Poland, erstwhile deciding to exercise the right of grace, had in mind, among others: affirmative environmental opinion, the occasional nature of the act, a unchangeable lifestyle".
