The Sejm established a list of 15 candidates for the National Judicial Council. The Constitutional Court has previously issued a safeguard that Members should not carry out the procedure for the selection of judges for the fresh KRS pending a final ruling.
The list of candidates was supported by 18 committee members, 2 opposed. No 1 abstained. The parliament is to vote on the candidacy on Friday.
PiS Members announced before the vote that they would not participate in the committee's work, citing the Constitutional Court's decision.
The Sejm selected candidates for the KRS despite the decision of the TK
A full of 17 candidates from 60 judges registered in the Sejm Clubs Sejm. The final list included 13 candidates designated by the governing coalition group and 1 candidate each PiS and Confederations.

The TK issued the safety after the PiS application
