The designation of Palestinian statehood is inevitable, yet the UN has already proposed this in its November 1947 resolution on the division of the British Mandate of Palestine into 2 states – judaic and Arab. Canada, Australia, France and the United Kingdom recognized Palestinian statehood. These 4 countries have so far conditioned their acceptance of the Palestinian State by the uprising in Gaza and the Palestinian Authority, which would reject force against Israel.

Minister of Culture Marta Cienkowska said a fewer days ago on the TokFM radio about a possible boycott of Eurovision by Poland: “I would very much not like this to be a political event. On the another hand, I will say my individual opinion: I think we should not participate in Eurovision if Israel is involved. With a dense heart, I look at what is happening in that part of the world.”

The organizers of 1 Warsaw festivals have already announced that their events “are not financed by Israeli government organisations and another Israeli entities”.
