Production of Helicopters to defend U.S. atomic Arsenal Starts

Boeing and Leonardo Helicopters began production of the first serial MH-139A grey Wolf helicopters for the US Air Force. This is the consequence of a $285 million order that includes transportation of 13 airframes, maintenance and support services, and training. In total, it is planned to get 84 helicopters by the US Air Force Global Strike Command and the cost of the full program to replace the age-old UH-1N remembering the Vietnam War is almost $3 billion.
