In the Sejm it is simply a real revolution – alcohol will vanish from the Polish parliament, although until late many Poles did not even realize that vodka is being served in the parliament. This is 1 of the first decisions of the fresh Marshal of the Parliament of Vladimir the Black. The end of alcohol in broad daylight for MPs and senators enters into force in a fewer days. From the fresh year onward, another order of the marshal will become a fact, concerning kilometres.

Marshal of the Sejm Vladimir Czarzasty began his service in his position with large order. His first decision was to respond to the loud issue of selling alcohol in the seismic canteen – from 24 November he will no longer be available there.

"I wanted to read Order No. 7 of the talker of the Sejm of 19 November on the ban on the sale of alcoholic beverages in buildings and in areas on the board of the Chancellery of the Sejm," said Czarzasty at a press conference on Wednesday. The order was signed by a fresh marshal in the presence of journalists. The Wizard announced that alcohol would not be sold in the Sejm from November 24.

The Marshal of the Sejm pointed out that the example should go “from above”, referring to the fresh proposal to prohibit the sale of alcohol at petrol stations.

"It is hard to inform the public about the request to ban sales at petrol stations, the request to ban selling alcohol at night, without setting an example from the Sejm, i.e. those who will pass specified a law," he said.

The end of alcohol in the Sejm and fresh rules for the calculation of alleged kilometres

As of 1 January, the Czarzaste decision will besides apply fresh rules for the settlement of alleged kilometres. The Marshal pointed out that the public must be convinced that the rules on the calculation of the travel allowance are transparent and fair. He mentioned that the decision concerns all Members and must so be discussed with them in advance.

"A squad will be appointed to invitation 1 typical from each club and parliamentary circle. After this consultation, I will sign this order and introduce fresh rules for miles from 1 January. The decision is final," announced Vladimir Czarzasty.
