Portugal negotiates acquisition of Bayraktar drones

During a visit to Ankara of Portugal's abroad Minister Joao Gomes Cravinho, his Turkish counterpart Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu stated - “Today we have agreed that we will encourage our companies to invest together. We talked about cooperation in the defence industry. I besides learned that negotiations had begun between Baykar and Portugal.” Baykar Makina is simply a company specializing in unmanned aircraft and its flagship product is Bayraktar TB2. This kind of machines has already been ordered by 28 countries, including Poland.
