"Poland to the End of Peace in Europe" – 18th abroad Policy Forum – 17.12.2025
Representatives of the government, parliament, diplomatic corps and expert groups discussed Polish abroad policy. The event was opened by the PISM Director, Jarosław Ćwiek-Karpowicz, and preliminary speeches were given by: Paweł Kowal – president of the Parliamentary Committee on abroad Affairs of the Polish Parliament, and Grzegorz Schetyna, president of the legislature Committee on abroad Affairs of the Polish Senate.
The challenges faced by Polish abroad policy, how the planet has changed and what processes we should pay peculiar attention to: Dr. Małgorzata Bonikowska, president of the Centre for global Relations, Roman Kuźniar – president of the PISM Council, Patricia Sasnal – analyst of PISM and Marek Magierowski – Institute of Freedom. The debate was moderated – Boguslaw Chrabota, diary of the Republic of Poland.
The second panel was attended by MPs, representatives of parliamentary clubs, who discussed Polish politics in a changing global reality. They discussed: Krzysztof Bosak, Marcin Ociepa, Marek Rzasa, Ewa Schädler and Andrzej Szejna. Agnieszka Gozdyr, a Polsat journalist, moderated the conversation.
Europe should show strength
During the expert panel, Dr. Małgorzata Bonikowska assessed that there was a dangerous minute of history. And to realize the age we can enter, look more at the planet situationtake into account countries specified as China, India. She added that Europeans should show that rumors about Europe's ageing are premature, should show strength in the form of independency management, economy, technologies and military power.
