The Polish consulate in St. Petersburg, which is closed by the Russian regime, is to cease to function until 10 January. The consulate representatives said goodbye on social media to diplomats and employees and called the liquidation "the most hard time of the mission". The closure of the facility is Moscow's reaction to the closure of the Russian Consulate General in Poznań. In this way Polish diplomacy reacted to attempts by Russia to diversify in Poland and allied countries.
