U.S. president Donald Trump following talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced a plan to end the war in Gaza and reconstruct peace in the mediate East. According to his proposal, the Gaza Strip would be demilitarized, Hamas would be disarmed, and hostages would be released within 72 hours. He hoped Hamas would accept the proposal.
