A ceasefire deadlock between Iran and the US

Trump is moving out of time to meet Xi Jinping.

What does it mean "to prolong the ceasefire with Iran by Trump indefinitely"?

TEHERAN (Tasnim) – Donald Trump announced on Tuesday on social media that, at the request of Pakistan, who mediated in talks, he extended the ceasefire with Iran for an indefinite period, pending the announcement of the result of the negotiations.

Tasnim information from various sources indicates that Iran has not requested an extension of the ceasefire, and Trump's announcement to extend the ceasefire for an indefinite period may have respective meanings:

1. The first thing that matters is that Trump lost the war. He tested and implemented all possible scenarios during the war.

Trump knows that he will not accomplish war, so he considers leaving the war as the best possible way for himself. Even if he continues the war, making a stupid decision, he won't accomplish anything.

2. Although the war did not benefit the United States, Trump can do anything, including take all possible measures, including prolong the ceasefire. Trump may claim to prolong the ceasefire, but then the same terrorist US administration or its regional angry dog (Israel) may carry out terrorist activities.

The information obtained by Tasnim indicates that Iranian officials are carefully monitoring this anticipation and Iran does not underestimate this scenario.

3. Another option is to retreat the U.S. from the war, and Israel will stay there under the pretext of violating the ceasefire in Lebanon!

However, the Americans were previously warned that the US could not unilaterally retreat from the war and keep Israel in combat.

4. A sustained maritime blockade means the continuation of war; Iran will not open the Strait of Ormuz at least for as long as the blockade of the sea is in force, and if essential it will break by force.

5. The United States is seeking to keep the shadow of the war on Iran and keep the Iranian economy and policies suspended.

The United States believes that the situation in Iran is the same as after the 12-day war. However, the current period has a fundamental difference – Iran's control of the Ormuz Strait. If America wants to hold the shadow of war, it should know that the Strait of Ormuz will stay completely closed.

No formal position by Iran on the extension of the ceasefire

TEHERAN (Tasnim) – Iran has not yet taken an authoritative position on extending the ceasefire with the United States.

Tasnim obtained information that despite reports published in any channels that claimed that Iran had ‘officially agreed to extend the ceasefire’, the muslim Republic of Iran had not yet taken an authoritative position on the matter.

Reports attributed to the spokesperson of the Iranian MFA in any media channels were besides false, so the same channels removed this material.

A spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of abroad Affairs, Esmaeil Baqaei, present issued no message on "the authoritative consent of Iran to ceasefire".

Iran is presently investigating various aspects of US president Donald Trump's message to extend the ceasefire.
