The U.S. Department of defence is reportedly considering ending its cooperation with Anthropic, an artificial intelligence firm. According to media reports, citing a typical of the government, the reason is the firm's insistence on imposing restrictions on the usage of its models by the US Army.
The Pentagon calls on 4 artificial intelligence companies to let the military to usage their tools for "any legitimate purpose", including weapons development, intelligence gathering and combat operations.
