General Tadeusz Jordan-Rozwadowski was 1 of the most crucial commanders in Poland's past – said Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in Kraków during the ceremony connected with the 97th anniversary of the death of the first Chief of the General Staff and 1 of the Warsaw conflict strategists. The head of the MON announced the burial of the foundation stone under the General's Warsaw monument.

In the courtyard of the Royal Castle in Wawel Władysław Kosiniak-Kamish Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Defence took part in a solemn memorial appeal dedicated to General Tadeusz Jordan-Rozadowski, as well as another commanders of the 1920 Warsaw Battle. October 18 marks the 97th anniversary of the General's death.
- I'm sorry. For me, the mission is to reconstruct the memory of General Rozwadowski, this is 1 of my tasks as Minister of Defence, and I would like to know who he was and who the general is for us – the Deputy Prime Minister said. He pointed out that Gen. Rozwadowski was 1 of the most crucial commanders in Poland's history.
- The general who decided on destiny Warsaw Battle, highly experienced, educated artilleryman, explorer, scientist, but besides educator of generations. An extraordinary figure, who in her suffering, showed the difficulty of building a free Poland – indicated the head of the MON.

Recalling the events of 1920, the Deputy Prime Minister referred to present and the war beyond our east border. He stressed that we must not let Ukraine to fall. “This is why we request to aid where the Polish safety border is, and present it lies on the Russian-Ukrainian front,” said the minister.
He added that we live in a time that cannot be determined by either peace or war. “We frequently say that these are pre-war times, but wars can always be avoided, but you request to be strong adequate to not be worth attacking us,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.
Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz besides recalled that shortly before the office of the General Staff of the Polish Army, a memorial commemorating General Rozwadowski, the first head of SGWP after Poland regained independency in 1918, will be established in Warsaw. On 24 October, on the eve of the festival of SGWP, the foundation stone for this monument will be built.

Piotr Rozwadowski, a typical of the general's family, besides took the level during the ceremony, who emphasized that after many years of forgetting the form of the Rozwadowski gene slow regains its place in the past of Poland and the awareness of Poles.
The ceremony was besides attended by soldiers from units whose patron is Gen. Rozwadowski: 23 Silesian Artillery Regiment and 4 Regional Logistics Base.
