Donald Trump strikes globalisation again – this time he targeted the cinema. He announced the introduction of 100% tariffs on all films produced abroad, recognising them as “a threat to national security” and a propaganda tool. The decision can turn the US cinema marketplace upside down and besides affect global movie production chains.
