German weapons won't go to Israel. Berlin reacts to actions in Gaza

Chancellor Friedrich Merz announced that Germany was suspending arms exports to Israel, which could be utilized in the Gaza Strip. This is Berlin's strongest consequence to the escalation of Israel's military activities so far.
