Sławomir Mentzen asked the question directly: – How did you get a image from the White House? Karol Nawrocki definitely said, "It's not just a picture." He stressed that his visit to the US was more complex.
He claimed that he contributed to Donald Trump's decision to remove Poland from the list of countries subject to restrictions on the import of American chips. In reality, however, the circumstances of this decision looked a small different, which we wrote more about here.
– Are you not afraid of specified a charge that since Donald Trump supports you, do you think you will be a better president from a point of view - it is not known whether Polish - but surely American? – Mentzen asked. The leader of the Confederacy stressed that he himself would search the support of Poles and asked Nawrocki whether politicians should search support abroad.
– I warrant that I did not go there to get support or take photographs – Nawrocki assured.
However, Mentzen did not give up, asking with disbelief: – You are telling me seriously that you flew across the ocean to Washington not to have a image of the White home with Donald Trum? Really?
The PiS candidate replied that his stay in the U.S. capital lasted about 7 hours and included many meetings, and a visit to the White home took place at the very end.
– I went there to discuss technological safety on the 1 hand and military safety on the other,” he explained. Nawrocki besides added that he did not analyse whether a photograph with the president of the United States would aid him with his election campaign.
