Minister reacts to the KPO case. ‘We have stopped the measures’

– I made a decision that no measures will not be transferred to payment for beneficiaries, until the individual agreement is audited and declared compatible with the HoReCa rules, informed Pełczyńska-Nałęcz. As she pointed out, so far 110 million PLN has been paid out from PLN 1 billion allocated to this.

– The vast majority of measures has not yet been paid. These. We stopped the money.. They will be paid as the check progresses. Any incorrectly qualified contract, any subsidy that is incompatible with the rules will be taken into account, cleared and the funds will not be spent, while well-granted grants will be paid – said the Minister and added that the checks will be carried out in a "business-friendly" manner, as irregularities concern only a number of contracts.

The Minister of Funds and Regional Policy has informed that all agreements concerning the HoReCa programme, including those in which the funds were paid, are controlled. As she noted, if irregularities were found in them, it would be filed request for reimbursement of funds paid.
