In the thick of media information about this subject can be lost, but the crucial thing is that according to Bloomberg's agency, permanent membership of the Peace Council could cost a billion dollars. Let's start at the beginning. The Council of Peace, in English The Board of Peace, is the creator of which is Donald Trump. The president of the United States officially announced its creation on January 15. The task of the Peace Council is to manage the Gaza Strip, but the American leader suggested that it could replace the UN in the future.

Trump in an authoritative social media entry described this body as "the top and most prestigious advice always gathered at any time and place." The authoritative signature of the document, and thus the creation of the organization, is scheduled to take place on Thursday, January 22nd, in Davos.

The president of the United States invited representatives of respective twelve countries to the Peace Council. According to PAP, citing a message from a high-ranking White home representative, the invitations were to be accepted by 35 of the 50 leaders who received them (another authoritative informed the AP agency about about about 30 members). France, Norway and Sweden rejected the proposal. The controversy is due to the fact that Vladimir Putin was besides invited to the Peace Council.

Polish president Karol Nawrocki besides received an invitation to the Peace Council from Donald Trump. The head of the global Policy Bureau, Marcin Przycz, confirmed these reports during the press briefing and added:

Bloomberg's agency, in turn, reported that countries curious in a permanent seat in the Peace Council would allegedly pay "at least $1 billion" for their three-year membership. The White home did not dement the information circulating in the media, but simply stated that "there is no minimum membership fee", adding that invitations were received by representatives of countries "showing commitment to peace and security."

Given the current dollar rate, this would mean PLN 3.6 billion for Poland. Is there any chance that the state's cash might have that kind of money? This question was asked by the writer Business Insider Polska to the Minister of Finance, Andrzej Domanski, present in Davos.

– I don't think I'm saying that, I'm not saying no," said the politician. Domanski then pointed out that these were primarily political decisions not taken by the Minister of Finance himself; they required government decisions and ratification by the Sejm. He added that Poland is 1 of the largest economies in the planet and "always wants to be at the decision table".

Lukashenko will quit his billion if needed. Finally, his ego and all the another benefits he sees in it prevail," said political scientist Alexander Friedman in statements for Zerkalo.

The expert pointed out that it is besides possible that Lukashenko may be looking for a way to spend a billion not out of his own pocket, but from Russia, for example, from the money received in the loan.
