In the latest survey conducted by the investigation company Rani24, the Civic Coalition (KO) increases its advantage over Law and Justice (PiS). The poll results, which was published on Tuesday, show that KO can number on 31.8% of support, while PiS has 27.9%. The 3rd place is taken by the Confederation, which can number on 18.7% of support.
According to the poll, if parliamentary elections were held next Sunday, 57% of Poles would go to polls. Interestingly, much more respondents declare their willingness to vote in the presidential election – 68%. Compared to the survey last month, KO lost any support (a fall from 31.9% to 31.8%), but PiS lost much more (a fall from 30.7% to 27.9%).
The Confederation gained 5.2 percent points and can number on 18.7% of support. The 3rd Road lost 0.6 percent points and can number on 8% of support. The fresh Left lost 0.1 percent points and can number on 5.5% support, and the organization together gained 0.9 percent points and can number on 2.9% support.
More frequently men (60%) declare their intention to participate in the parliamentary elections than women (54%), but among women from 1 period to the next, electoral mobilization gradually increased (in December 2024 it was 48%). Electoral activity besides depends on age – elder voters more frequently declare their intention to participate in elections. Among people over the age of 60, it amounts to 70%, while among the youngest voters (18-29 years) – nearly half of it (37%).
A survey for RMF FM was conducted from 10 to 13 February and carried out according to the first methodology by the investigation laboratory Opinion24 on a typical example of 1002 people. Computer assisted telephone interviews (CATI) were used. The test reflected the socio-demographic characteristics of the Polish population 18+.
According to the poll data, KO has the highest support among voters aged 40-49 (34.5%) and 50-59 (33.4%). The PiS has the highest support among voters at the age of 60 and more (31.4%). The Confederation has the highest support among voters aged 18-29 (24.5%).
The survey shows that parliamentary elections will be very equal and that all vote will be of large importance. The KO and the PiS are leaders, but the Confederacy can number on large support among young voters. The 3rd Road, fresh Left and organization Together can number on little support, but their consequence may be applicable in circumstantial regions.
It is worth noting that election attendance is very crucial in Poland. In the 2019 parliamentary election, attendance was 61.1% and in the 2020 presidential election was 64.4%. KO and PiS must mobilize their voters to guarantee their success in the elections.
The survey is only a forecast, but can be an crucial indicator of social moods in Poland. KO, PiS, and the Confederacy must face social and political expectations in order to guarantee success in elections. Voters must be aware of their rights and obligations in order to make informed and liable decisions.
