The flexible concept of terrorism makes it more hard at both political and legal levels to classify a given activity or act as a terrorist. This reflects the character of the maxim "Last night's terrorist is today's freedom fighter". The African continent itself knows many specified cases – Nelson Mandela, Samor Machel or Jomo Kenyatta. On the another side of the barricades, however, there are figures who base their political actions on real panic and motivate him with spiritual motivation. However, conducting a terrorist crusade, in addition to an ideological apparatus, requires a certain structure, resources and social base.
